Hi, and welcome to ‘The Cheese’ online.

The Cheese is a LPFM (Low Power FM) radio station run from the CBD area of Lower Hutt, Wellington New Zealand.

Setup and run as a hobby, The Cheese aims to entertain listeners with music from the 80s, 90s and Today without commercials and with minimal interruptions.

The Cheese is licenced with APRA & PPNZ New Zealand for music broadcasting rights and operates under the NZ laws governing LPFM transmission.

The station commenced broadcast on Saturday July 1st 2006.
