Tuning In

The Cheese is run as a low power FM station, so as such reception can be limited in some areas of Wainuiomata. The Cheese broadcasts in Stereo (in available areas).

If your FM reception is a bit noisy then it is recommended you switch your reciever to ‘mono’ mode. Some stereo systems and car stereos will automatically do this for you.

You can also listen online by clicking one of the listening links to the top-right of the screen:

High:

  • AAC+ Format, 64kbps, 44.1khz – Suited for broadband connections. Your player must support the AAC+ Codec

Low:.

  • MP3 Format, 48kbps, 22khz – Suited for dialup connections. Suitable for all players.
