George Harrison found himself in Bob Dylan’s studio in 1988 recording the B Side of a single release from his new album.  Luckily for George, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Tom Petty and Roy Orbison were hanging around at the same place.  By the end of the session, not only had they nailed the B side, but they decided to form The Traveling Wilburys and so proved that the old guys could still give the late 80s youngsters a run for their money.  A collection of Wilbury songs from the late 80s recently did well in the album charts and we revisit the supergroup by making The Official Traveling Wilburys Site our Website Of The Week this week on The 80s Lunchbox, weekdays at midday on The Cheese
