Billy Ocean

Leslie Charles was born in Trinidad and moved to London at the age of 8.  He changed his name to Billy Ocean when he began to gain success in British clubs.  A recording contract in the 70s was soon followed by a string of hits in the mid 70s and even bigger success in the following decade.  Still a firm favourite with worldwide audiences, he released a new album Because I Love You earlier this year to critical aclaim.
