The Cheese
An exhibition presented by Children on the Edge featuring the work of Saw Kennedy, a Refugee forced to flee Burma after facing oppression and persecution at the hands of the brutal Burmese military regime. Shades of Burma, is a collection of Kennedy’s work depicting his peoples story, their struggle, their fear, their courage, their hope, their dreams and their fighting spirit. You will see images from within Burma of those literally running for their lives, cyclone Nargis survivors, the life of the migrant, the internally displaced and the refugee.
Shades of Burma, is proudly presented by Children on the Edge, in a effort to raise awareness and funds for the forgotten children of Burma. The exhibition can be viewed at the First Floor Gallery, St James Theatre, Courtney Place from the 11th Nov – 22nd Nov. Admission is free.
