After the new wave era, Paul Weller disbanded The Jam and in a complete change of direction created The Style Council.  We've made one of their best Fansites our Website of the Week on The 80s Lunchbox, Monday to Friday from 12.0 on The Cheese.

From the small pub rock scene of the late 70s came Mark Knopfler and his band Dire Straits.  By the 80s the band were playing stadiums.  We've made Mark's Official Webpage our Website of the Week on The 80s Lunchbox, weekdays at midday on The Cheese.
